Our Story
Jensen Ford has been a Marshalltown landmark since 1967, when Kevin and Kendall Jensen first opened the doors at 2805 South Center Street. For decades, the Jensen name stood for straight deals and honest service in Central Iowa.
In 2003, Joe and Christin Hobson — both Marshalltown natives who met in high school and graduated together from the University of Iowa — returned home to build their careers at the dealership. Christin grew up in the business, and Joe worked his way through nearly every department over 20+ years, from Service and Finance to General Management.
On March 1, 2020, Joe and Christin officially took ownership, carrying on the legacy that Kevin and Kendall built. The philosophy hasn't changed: treat people right, stand behind what you sell, and be here when they need you.
